My name is Nancy Scriven, it is really lovely to meet you.

I have been a Registered Midwife since 2016 and I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2024.

I am a Mum to my little girl Indiana, who is 3 going on 13 and challenges me every day (in the best way). I am a wife to an exceptionally patient husband, and also a dog Mum to an absolutely ancient French Bulldog called Sassy.

I qualified as a midwife in 2016 and have worked in a variety of settings including several hospitals, standalone Birthing Centres and the community. When I returned from Maternity Leave I followed the path of one of my passions and took a job as an Infant Feeding Specialist Midwife at a local hospital.

In 2022 I began working towards becoming a Lactation Consultant, which is a rigorous qualification widely considered to be a "Masters" in Infant Feeding. I qualified in 2024 and am certified until 2029 (L-316645). This means that I am highly qualified to support with all aspects of Infant Feeding.

Working in Infant Feeding and supporting families to achieve their feeding goals is an incredible privilege, and each journey I am part of is so unique.

I have a huge passion for giving evidence-based care, and helping you as a family to navigate the well-meaning but often conflicting advice given throughout your feeding journey.

I am insured with Holistic Insurance Services.

So how could I help you?
